Australia

Time for a new post! We have been in Australia since Saturday morning and have been busy yet lazy the whole time, although already adjusted though to the time change so that's good.  After being dropped off at the airport by dad and Toony, we got into San Fran around 10pm to find our Sydney flight was delayed 3 hours so we spent 3 hours in the San Fran United lounge.  Our flight left San Fran around 2am Friday and we landed in Sydney around 8:30am Saturday.  Since all flights were delayed into Sydney due to fog, we didn't get a gate to pull into, so all 300+ people on our plane had to walk off and get onto buses to get to the airport terminal.  Of course we were in the last row of seats and therefore on the last bus ride in, we finally got off the plan an hour after we touched the ground.

After making it to the house and saying our hello's we took a few runs to the stores to help get things ready for the party and I made Yanneth's yummy queso for everyone. It was definitely a hit among the siblings. Saturday night we had our 6 month anniversary / welcome back party with our Australian family and friends! The food and company were fantastic and we had a blast, thanks to everyone who made it out to celebrate with us. After a late night we woke up Sunday and sat around all day in the warm sun eating leftovers from Saturday and doing absolutely nothing the entire day, it was great.

The rest of our time here will be spent getting things ready for Africa, spending time with friends and family and relaxing! It feels great to have no timelines for school or work while we're here, although we do miss our puppy heaps. Thanks for reading and hope everyone back home is doing great :-)
